This past weekend my husband and I went to Boston for a good friend’s wedding. It was a whirlwind, but such a wonderful weekend with friends, food, and music - lots of music. The weekend began at SRV Boston where our friend Chef Mike (as our son calls him) creates amazing dishes like the Eggplant Mezzaluna with cippollini onions and shiso. It was amazing, and so great for my husband to be back with his college buddies. The weekend ended in beautiful Harvard at the Fruitlands Museum. It was the most beautiful wedding, overlooking the reds, oranges and yellows of the fall trees. Andrew and his beautiful wife, Rebecca, created such a special day for all of us.
And after many laughs and choreographed dances - and a 7 hour travel day (whew), we are back in Sacramento. Now if only the fall weather would hurry up and get here too!
